WHAT IS MY ESTIMATE BASED ON?

  • We charge by the hour. The estimate is based on the inventory list you provided (not weight), as well as distance between your move from and to locations.

WHAT HAPPENS IF I HAVE MORE OR LESS ITEMS TO BE MOVED?

  • If there are less or more items, the move will take less / more time than estimated. The size of truck used for your move is also determined by your inventory. Please let us know if you need to add items, so that we can make sure to send out a truck big enough to accommodate your items.

HOW WILL YOU PACK MY TV?

  • We require all TVs to be boxed. If you do not provide the TV box, the crew would custom make one. We charge $25.00 per TV box.

DO I NEED TO PACK LAMPS?

  • It is best for all items to be boxed up (if you did not select packing services). The crew can help with packing, and if needed custom make boxes for them. Additional fees may apply.

WILL THE MOVERS TAKE A LUNCH BREAK?

  • The crew would typically not take any breaks. They might grab something quick while heading over to your destination.

CAN YOU MOVE PLANTS?

  • We definitely can, they however should not be watered ahead of your move date. Since there is really no way of protecting them while in transit, some clients prefer to move those ahead of time.

IS THERE ANYTHING THE CREW CAN NOT MOVE?

  • We unfortunately cannot move propane tanks, firearms, or flammable items. All liquids being moved should be closed and boxed.

CAN I LEAVE MY DRAWERS FULL, AND TAPE THEM SHUT?

  • We would ask for all drawers to be emptied, the crew would then wrap them leaving them in the dressers / cabinets. This will make the move safer, and leave your furniture in best condition.

WILL MY FURNITURE BE WRAPPED AND DISASSEMBLED BY YOUR CREWS?

WHAT IS SHRINK WRAP NEEDED FOR?

  • We recommend wrapping upholstered and leather items in shrink wrap, for better protection. We charge $10 per item wrapped.

WHAT FORM OF PAYMENT DO YOU ACCEPT?

  • We accept cash, certified checks, money orders, and credit cards. Please note a 3% processing fee applies with most cars / 4% with AMEX.

HOW CAN I GET A CASHIER’S CHECK, IF I DO NOT HAVE THE FINAL TOTAL?

  • We recommend getting a cashier’s check for the estimated amount, and paying the difference in cash. If the move takes less time, we will issue a refund check for the difference. You will receive a receipt – BOL, upon completion of your move.

HOW DO I KNOW IF A PARKING PERMIT WOULD BE NEEDED?

  • If there is no alley, loading dock, or driveway, it would be best to request a permit. The city would then come out, to post ‘no parking’ signs.

  • Please do not forget to let us know, if you require a parking permit. Requests for permits must be made at least 4 (business) days ahead of your scheduled move date. There is a $30 fee, for each permit requested (per truck & per location), for residential areas. Metered parking fees varies by location.

  • Payment for the permits are to be made upfront, and unfortunately are NOT refundable.

DO YOU OFFER STORAGE?

AM I ABLE TO CANCEL OR RESCHEDULE MY MOVE AFTER BOOKING?

  • We ask for a notice of at least 72 hours ahead of time, to cancel or reschedule a move. There would be no penalty fees.
